Well,
I've been playing like a maniac lately. I'm playing Fridays and Saturdays every other week, and it's been great. I just learned how to play and sing "Lie In Our Graves" by DMB. I've always loved this song, but I could never play and sing it at the same time. Now, with my Loop Station, I can also play the instrumental break in the middle of the song. I've never been so pleased with a cover. I've also just learned "But Anyway" by Blues Traveler. It's a fun song, but I haven't quite made it show worthy.
As far as my music goes, I sold 2 more cd's last night. That's such a rush. So, a big thank you goes to James and family for your support. My parents also bought my the new software I needed for my new studio for my birthday. So, Lava Lamp, my next CD, will begin the recording process soon. I hope to have it finished in the next year. Of course, I'll need the proper funds to get it out to the public;)
As far as hightlights from my shows:
East Bay: I played "Lighthouse" for the first time in years. The crowd loved it. Perhaps explaining the background and meaning of a song is good thing;)
Moose Mountain: James and family watched intently for an hour when the place was almost empty. I played my heart out for them. It's incredibly rewarding when someone is really listening.
Well, I hope to see you guys out at a show sometime. Perhaps I'll try to get a Charlotte gig for all you guys up that ways. Any suggestions on a Venue? I'd also need someone to be my legwork man up there. Columbia is another viable option as well. Perhaps a Lost on Tuesday Acoustic reunion could happen there.
Peace, Love, and Funk,

They canned the one place downtown taht was real big on up and coming live music. There are tons of places that have live music though. I wouldn't know where to start. If you know Craig Delucia (Healy's buddy) he would know though. He promotes, or did promote, Josh Queen in the area. Josh has a decnet little fan base and gets some good gigs I think. I haven't made one in a over a year though.
