S.S. Mayday @ Folly Park

Well, Cyndi and I took the Mayday out on Sunday with Madison for a short ride to a beach on the end of Folly Island.  The beach is separated from Folly by a small waterway making it its own little island on the southern end of folly.  We took our dog out there, parked the boat on the inlet side of the island, and picnicked and swam.  It was sweet.  We walked around the Island and actually saw shell.  You also didn’t have to have the pilings in your way that are at Folly to fight erosion.

As for the Mayday’s inevitable bad thing to happen on a boat outing-the anchor came loose and Mayday tried to float away while we were on the other side of the Island.  A good Samaritan helped us out on that one.

That is all,

Larson threw my anchor into Lake Norman this weekend. I told him to drop it staright down, but he of undeniable wisdon decided to chuck it way out in front of the boat like the rest of the bumbling moron rednecks around here. The anchor was gone when he started pulling the rope. Had he dropped it in like I requested, I could have at least a ballpark idea where to dive for it. It really wasn't big enough for my boat and the lake bottoms here are to smooth for it to catch on anything like the rocks in TN. I guess I am forced to get a new one now...or feel the wrath of other boat wakes the rest of the summer. I love pissing away cash.

Yeah,

I love my boat, too.

Larson strikes again....if he wasn't my little brother, I wouldn't have to be ashamed. Of course I have to ask why he was involved in anything with the boat as he has never had a boat, much against his argument that whatever was in 300 woodland circles yard was a boat, but we all know it was just a large piece of fiberglass.
