Recording of Lavalamp has begun.

So,

 

I haven’t posted about music in some time.  Just an FYI, Top5Studios is back up and running in its new location, Winterville, NC.  I have been reading several books and studying recording methods so that I can make the best CD ever made by a guy in his closet, but eventually a little voice came in my head.  The voice said this:

 

“Isn’t Axle Rose still working on his Solo G ‘n R CD.  Hasn’t he been working on that for like 15 years or something?  Don’t be that guy.”

 

So, I’ve laid some tracks down and hope to record the first of 10 to 12 funk songs by the end of this week.  Sure, it won’t perfect, but as Joe Perry would say, “F#ck it, why don’t we just play some music.”
