Family Guy

So,

I watched Family Guy last night, again.  Is it just me or is the show getting stale?  Ever since South Park pointed out the FG outline of random jokes, I’m just not enjoying it as much.  I was happy FG came back because SP had gotten stale for me.

Maybe I’m too old to enjoy cartoons.   I am almost 29.

Nah, that can’t be it, because I’m about to buy ‘Counter-Strike: Anthology’ (as seen in the collegehumour.com ‘Boom Head Shot’ video) to play it online a la Quake.

On another note, I went to Charleston Battery (Soccer) game on Saturday with a friend from work.  We ran into to some of his buddies at the $1 beer bar.  Well, we proceeded to get drunk and heckle the other team.   The first two guys we worked on both got yellow cards.  Their names were ‘Brilliant’ and ‘Low.’  It all started with us yelling ‘Brilliant’ a la the Guinness commercial every time he got the ball.  He appreciated it.  Really, he didn’t choke at all. Heh, heh.

Then, we noticed Low.  Low missed an open goal, and 10 minutes later fell out position allowing us a fast break goal.  At the end of the game, we were laughing because we knew half of the opposition’s names, but not of our own.

We especially enjoyed heckling the second string while they were warming up the entire game just in case one of the essential members had to rest.   Losers.

Sincerely,

Lawtonious Funk

So glad I got you hooked on those first person shooters on the hall.

And I swear that is the longest word verification I have ever typed to post!

You heckled third rate "professional" soccer players. I thought Charleston had plenty to do...but then again you were drunk and everything I have enjoyed in Charleston has involved alcohol of some sort. Go figure.

There is a wheelchair symbol next to the word verification on this. I don't think it's jsut for me as I haven't signed in quite yet for this post, but I have a sneaking suspiscion the site knows.
