This Week in Funkytown

So,

My wife is on a rural rotation for the next 6 weeks.  She’ll be in the lovely town of Denmark living with my aunt and uncle.  She’s already been gone for a couple weeks, and I have to tell you, this sucks.  The only benefit to her not being around is that I am studying 2 to 3 hours a night for the PE.  So, she doesn’t have to present for the infamous ‘Lawton’ temper tantrums.

I’ve actually haven’t really freaked out, yet, but from what I’ve heard, all you have to do is walk through the room while I’m studying.  Walk on by, and you’re day is ruined by stress you catch from me.

I’ll be taking a practice exam next weekend to see how well I’m doing.  I am retaking a practice exam ¼ at a time.  So far, I’ve taken half the test and I have a 75%.  The minimum is around 70.  I’m not happy, yet.

Well, I wish I had a better story. Well, I guess our office all chipped in and bought a basketball hoop.  So, now we play B-ball at lunch.  That’s pretty cool, but it doesn’t help me sleep at night.

Sincerely,

Lawtonious Funk
