STEAK AND BJ DAY!

Yep,

It’s Steak and BJ Day, and my wife is out of town, again.   She’s been out of town on Steak and BJ Day for the past three years now.  Last year, she left the country.  She freakin’ went to Africa.  Now, I’m not bitter-I’m freakin’ pissed off.

This year we weren’t really going to do much for Valentines-i.e. no presents.  I bought her a dozen roses, candy, took her out to dinner, and she found a $400 watch for $150 so I got that, too.  Okay, so dropping three hundred bucks in one day = nothing.

Where’s the f#ckin’ reciprocation!

Now, I guess I could cook myself a steak.  At the least, I could have steak, but I’m tired of cooking my own steak.  I don’t care how good I am at it.  It’s simply not the same.  I know, I know.  You single guys out there have been cooking your own steak for years, but you b@st@rds haven’t put in the time, money, oh -lest we married/relationship guys forget - the conversation.

I’ve put in my money.  I’ve showered my girl with presents.  I’ve spent quality time with her doing the things she wants to do.  I’ve talked, endlessly, about feelings.  Yeah, that’s right, feelings.

All I’m saying is, where’s the steak?  Shouldn’t I at least get a steak?

Regretfully yours,

Lawtonious “My balls hurt” Funk

Just stick to calling it Pi Day and forget about it.

Besides, you make your sex life sound worse than mine, and almost as bad as Wha's. I've really got to feel sorry for you if that's the case.

No, no, don't worry about me. I just like joking about how the wife leaves town on ST&BJ day.

wow I hope she doesn't read your blog like my wife does mine or you will start to call the couch home! LOL

No, She knows my sense of humor. This is completely a joke, guys. The whole notion of ST&BJ Day is a joke. I sent a similiar email with a guilt trip about her being out of town on this day. She thanked me for the laugh.

I guess you guys have lost touch with my brutally ridulous sense of humor.

I would never require that of my wife.

It is a gift.

No, we should all require that of our significant others. I remember us coming up with this notion a couple years back. I mean, seriously, why not. We are all good individuals at the heart of it. Our shananigans are tame in actuality and are becoming less and less as we age. Why shouldn't we be recognized for our achievments. Funk, if nothing else, get some Outback to go. They wrap that stuff up nicely and it's still good and hot when you get home.

Oh and one day, I'm gonna find a Wedding Crasher's quality freak and everyday is going to be Steak and BJ day for me.
