Dr. Cyndi

Cyndi has pulled through.  She felt fine yesterday and the pain in her side is completely gone.  This only begs the question, “What the heck was wrong with her?”  I believe it was a curse.  Here are a few curse titles up for debate:

Curse of Med School:                 Last weekend was Cyndi’s only free weekend until her B-day.  She spent it doubled over in pain on the couch.

Curse of Iptay:                           We aren’t members of IPTAY.  Perhaps they cursed us for not being members.  We only can get to one or two games a year.  Last weekend was one of them.

The Lawton Family Curse:          I haven’t seen my sisters since the wedding.  We were supposed to see both my sisters and families and my parents last weekend.  I probably won’t see Ginny until Christmas now.  We also were going to get to see friend we get to see once or twice a year at the game.  I put this under family, because these guys are like family.

So, naturally, Cyndi starting feeling better the morning she went back to work.  If any of you guys have been sick over a vacation, you know how depressing it is.  I know

we should be thankful Cyndi is not going through some horrible surgery, but for the moment, we’re just disappointed.

Submit your own Curse title if you like.

Sincerely,

Lawtonious Funk

Maybe it was the curse of the fish taco. I know I felt that curse the day of the Rochford Rehersal dinner. Maybe it was more the curse of shots and beer and shots and, well, you get the picture.
