So,
I reinstalled windows XP without deleting everything. Nifty little trick. I can now get into my folders, but I still have the virus. I just delayed the inevitable. I have used Ad-aware, spybot, Norton, Yahoo Antivirus,and AVG to try to get rid of this virus. So far, the one thing I am trying to rid myself of is the warware that places new links on "My Favorite" and changes my home page. Any new ideas?

In these situations I usually google whatever errors pop up and see what people are posting about them on boards. Other than that you may want to try and find "hijack this", it is another virus program.
I have had some luck with Ad-aware and AVG together. Honestly, I am thankful Nobrainer put Firfox on my machine. Opening my normal IE sets these littel bitches off, but FireFox lets me surf pain free. When you find an IE solution, let me know as I am in the same predicament.
