So,
A woman from work just sent out an email asking anyone who wanted to attend “The Victor” at her church to let her know.
Now, I’ve seen “The Passion of the Christ,” and it hurt. I mean, I sat there next to my wife as she balled into my arm and just hurt. I’m sure I cried, but I don’t remember. I guess it really hit home how badly Christ suffered for our sins, and I don’t think I could ever bear to watch anything like that again.
Could you? Did any of you who saw it rent it and watch it again?
I don’t want to start a debate about passion plays. I’m just wondering if any of you could watch one again.
I just don’t think I can do it. So, I’m going to pass on “The Victor.” I’m out. I’m just not doing that. With all due respect, no. No way. Never again. Not happening.
Sincerely,
Lawtonious Funk

yeah, passion was rough. I remember hearing sobs in the theater and choking up myself at the realization of how graphically "real" the entire thing seemed
