Hey There Cobain!

I think Kurt Cobain had it wrong.  He really shouldn’t have shot himself with the shotgun.  He should have shot that douchebag from the ‘Plain White T’s’ for writing “Hey there, Delilah.”

 

Here’s why:

 

1. This was a much better song when it was called “Yesterday” and the Beatles wrote it.
2. The lyrics are basically what any douchebag loser would say to his girlfriend when they go to different colleges.  A real man would have written, “Hey there Delilah, while your off in New York city, I’ll be banging your sister and your cousin because they look so pretty covered in my  . . .” 
3. As an acoustic guitar player, I have never felt more like pulling and “Animal House” move on anyone who plays this song.
