It took KC 2 solid hours to deliver my dinner last night. After the first hour and fifteen minutes, I called to make sure we didn’t say ‘pick up.’ The girl that answered the phone put me on hold for five minutes. (actual time, my phone has a timer on it.) Then, she was like, “Yeah, our driver has a lot of order. Sorry, man.” And she immediately hung up.
After waiting another 45 minutes, I called and asked to speak to the manager. He first tried to lower the price. My response, “well, is the food still hot?” I got the meal free, begrudgingly. He informed me that the he would call the driver and tell him it was free.
When the driver called 2 minutes later and asked if I still wanted the food, I replied, “I don’t’ know man, you guys are probably really mad at me. How do I know you didn’t jerk off on it?” (Ha, ha-I called you out, biotch.)
He said he didn’t. I believed him. It was only a couple minutes between the free food call and the JO call. I feel vindicated. I may have had to wait 2 hours, but I got my food free-and uncoated.
Of course, it’ll be a cold day in hell before I order delivery or pick up from KC again.
You have my gratitude,
Lawtonious Funk

That is rough. Next time you want a Kickin Chicken sandwhich, go to Zaxby's and get theirs. Got to be more fresh but I'm guessing it's not getting delivered. Orange was in Charlotte for a while Saturday. It took well over an hour to get 3 pizzas from Domnioes. I called inand asked what hte hold up was and got a similar answer to yours. What ever happened to 30 minutes or it's free?
HILARIOUS... you story actually made my dinner conversation... but i lead a sad life
