So, this weekend has had quite a few ups and downs.
First, I find out that the Clemson game is going to be on a channel I don't have. So, we don't have the party at our house.
Second, we go to Millenium music to see a free concert of Jump, and we get tickets to their show on Saturday with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra for $5 a piece. (Sweet!)
Third, we watch the clemson game in a bar. (That's all I have to say about that.)
Finally, we got to the Jump concert. It's the coolest concert I've seen in a long time. They didn't play as many of their radio songs, but I have a real appreciation for some of their other music, now. Some singers can only sing a song once. They get it right on the recording, and then sing an easier version live. Jump's is incredible. He hits every note with ease. They all can play instruments superbly, and the symphony back up was great. Jump ended by asking for the PA to be cut off and performing a song completely with out amplification. You could here a pin drop on the last number. It was a classy, cool way to end.
As for Sunday. So far, I've read about two of my friends having a bad day and it is raining. I hope you guys can work it out. (You know who you are.)
One more note on Clemson: Why!?! How!?! Uhg.
