Random Email Names-Subjects = Spam

So,  I started getting these random emails with random subjects that are spam.  When you open them, they are selling something.  It’s not porno stuff.  It’s vacuums and microwaves and such.  Does anyone know how to get rid of this junk?

Sincerely,

Lawtonious Funk

What kind of email program are you running? If it's Outlook, turn on the junk mail filters, and also make sure you upgrade to the latest software version. If you can switch to using Thunderbird, you "teach" its filters and they work quite well.

Otherwise, just don't read that junk.

I'm always amused by the emails that are attempting to Adobe Acrobat 6.0.

Funnel through a hotmail or yahoo. They attract plenty but filter well too. Oh yeha, and don't open them..did you not read the pizza blog?

I think if you just buy a vacuum cleaner or microwave from them they will leave you alone afterwards.
