When I first started dating my wife, she would ask my opinion on things like politics, sports, people, whatever. My standard answer was, “I don’t’ know,” and when pressed, “I don’t care.” She couldn’t understand that a person could just not have opinions. In a way, I guess she’s one to believe that our opinions create our personality, and by not having one on a subject, I didn’t have a personality. However, I disagreed. My opinion was that if you don’t have an opinion on something you just don’t’ care about it.
Nowadays, I have opinions, it turns out I had them all along; I just didn’t voice them, or feel I had the knowledge to back them up. For example, I’ve followed a particular political party line my whole life, but I didn’t get into debates because I didn’t feel I could back up my opinions with facts.
However, I have always had wonderfully well made opinions on the following subjects:
Music
Movies
Beer
Soccer
Sleeping
Sex
In other words, anything that is not helpful in the ‘real world,’ or what my mom would call constructive.
So, let us talk of nothing, for I can speak volumes.
Sincerely,
Lawtonious Funk

So thats why we always got along so well!
No, your opinions are on topics more relavent to your age and interests. Prior to 30, should any of us really care about the important stuff? Until children come in what you mentioned is all that really matters.
Actually, politics matter now. Cause we make money, and politicians try to steal it one way or another. Wow, that's the most concise explanation I've ever given. Drinking rules.
Yes, and no matter which party we like they are going to steal it so basically you are voting for what you want it spent on...blowing shit up and bitch slapping those that mess with us for no good reason, or hugging trees and trying to play diplomat with said crazy asses.
Fair Tax! Vote for it!
